Description
This project aims to investigate adverse outcomes relating to pharmaceutical opioid use in an older Australian population-based cohort, specifically to:1) Characterise patterns of pharmaceutical opioid use and associations with individual demographic, health and behavioural factors; and2) Quantify the relationships between different patterns of pharmaceutical opioid use and a wide range of opioid-induced and general health outcomes, including mortality, morbidity, healthcare service utilisation and person-centred outcomes.
