Project Details
Description
Interscience easySpiral and colony counter will support health and medical research across multiple disciplines, working in the fields of microbiology (Laboratories of Man and Li), immunology (McMorran), genetics (Burgio), cell biology and cancer (Thompson), neuroscience (Natoli) from JCSMR, ANU Medical School and Canberra Hospital. The Interscience colony counter enables fast and efficient counting of bacterial colonies, including chromogenic agar. It also guarantees excellent accuracy and reproducibility. The Interscience easySpiral is an automatic plater of bacterial culture (between 100 to 1x107 CFU/mL) onto Petri dishes without prior dilution. The automated plater markedly reduces and sample processing time and markedly enhances data generated by applying an automated machinery for a highly laborious technique.
