    Project Details

    Description

This project will deliver a new understanding of security in the Asian region that will be of benefit locally and beyond. It takes three foundational areas of human security: personal security, health security, and security of people on the move, and examines their governance and regulation in the fragile environments of Indonesia and Cambodia. The project will apply a new theoretical approach called nodal governance, a framework for analyzing interrelationships between institutions of the state, the private sector, and civil society. Concepts of nodes and networks are used to develop a distinctive longitudinal study of six cases of human security.
