Project Details
Description
The objective is to characterize excited levels in 113Cd, a priority case for ARLs ultra-energy-density research program. Established expertise, facilities and instruments at the Australian National Universitys Heavy Ion Accelerator Facility will be used to map nuclear levels and transitions that may support switchable energy release from a 14-year metastable state present in this nucleus.
