Project Details
Description
Wireless technologies are increasingly emerging as a fundamental pervasive infrastructure to deliver information to serve the needs of people to communicate and do business. This proposal focuses on cross-layer design as a way to significantly improve the reliability and range of delivery of wireless services. However, cross-layer design is subject to significant engineering and scientific challenges to bring it to full and effective use. This project will assist Australia in maintaining and elevating its international research role in the development of breakthrough solutions to these challenges. The project provides training for gifted early career researchers through collaboration with outstanding international researchers.
