Pill testing in the ACT: Pilot evaluation

The objectives of the current ACT pill testing program are consistent with the principles of both harm reduction and consumer participation evident in alcohol and other drug policy in the ACT and in the broader national policy context (see, for instance, the ACT Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Strategy 20102014 and the National Heroin Overdose Strategy). The program draws on an extensive body of overseas research and the support and expertise of an expert advisory committee.
