PRAXIS: Detector System for Collaborative Research

University undertakes to develop a fully functional Detector System (including H1 RG detector, readout electronics, cryostat and associated support equipment) that will be made available to the Providers for use in collaborative research including for the PRAXIS program and for astrophotonic applications. It is anticipated that the Detector System will be required for a number of periods of several weeks each over the duration of the agreement. Scheduling and use of the Detector System is to be agreed between the Representatives of each Party on a case by case basis. University shall confirm interfaces with the Providers prior to fabrication of relevant Detector System components. The Detector System will remain the property of University and will be located at Mount Stromlo Observatory when not undergoing testing or operations as part of this agreement.
