    Description

    The Pre-hospital Anti-fibrinolytics for Traumatic Coagulopathy and Haemorrhage-2 (PATCH-2) trial is continuation of a well advanced, multi-centre,randomised, placebo-controlled NHMRC-funded trial (PATCH) testing the hypothesis that pre-hospital administration of 1g IV tranexamic acid, followed bya 1g infusion over 8 hours in hospital, improves functional outcome at six months after severe traumatic injury, compared to standard care.
