Prototype for the National Argon Map

The aim of this project is to assimilate some of the existing 40Ar/39Ar geochronology from northern Australia to develop a prototype of a National Argon Map, which will improve knowledge and understanding of tectonic architecture in the far north of our continent. The Prototype of the National Argon Map will highlight gaps in the existing data coverage, and allow a trial of the technological aspects of making an argon map.
