    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

The purpose of this project is to: 1) quantify the economic benefits to hospitals from the Communication in Nursing Handover product (CNH and 2) refine and adapt the product, and its delivery method, in order to scale up the product to ensure its growth and sustainability across the Australian hospital sector. Based on Diana Slades 14 years of previous research in healthcare communication, as well as a recent pilot research project at St Vincents Hospital Sydney, the CNH product transforms communication in nursing handovers, both within wards and across the hospital, thereby significantly improving clinical practices and patient outcomes.
