    Description

    This project will provide a comprehensive comparative analysis of the automotive industry in six countries on the Western Pacific Rim. It will analyse the forces that are inducing strategic change in the industry, the challenges facing firms and states in upgrading their participation in this industry, and the policy options they have in responding to these challenges. It will contribute to the discussion of the structures and processes required for fostering a culture of innovation. It will significantly extend the current analysis in the literature of political science on the impact of globalization on states.
