Project Details
Description
This workshop will address the problem of unreliable and inefficient forensic science in the legal system in several novel ways. These aims both advance justice outcomes and fit well with the specific purposes of the Research Event Grant program. I now turn to those purposes. The workshop takes a transdisciplinary approach, bringing together an international collection of researchers in forensic science, law, research synthesis, psychology, metaresearch, and criminology. We will use short presentations and interactive sessions to share advances across fields, innovate new approaches and methodologies, and build new collaborations.
