Project Details
Description
Lung cancer is the leading cause of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer deaths, with mortality rates rising
compared to falling rates for non-Indigenous Australians. A new Lung Cancer Screening Program starts in 2025
and offers a chance for a program evaluation by a world leading Indigenous research team. This study will evaluate
the program's effectiveness, understand participant experiences, and identify barriers and enablers for services,
helping ensure it meets community needs.
