Description
Despite advances in managing stripe rust in wheat, significant knowledge gaps remain in early detection, prevalence, and performance of different stripe rust lineages in the field. Specifically, there is a lack of data on the fitness and aggressiveness of Australian stripe rust lineages under diverse environmental and agricultural conditions. Additionally, it is not fully understood how these traits correspond to field prevalence and how lineages adapt to varying climatic conditions or management strategies. This knowledge is crucial for developing more targeted and effective management strategies that account for the evolutionary and adaptive potential of individual stripe rust lineages
