Project Details
Description
This project aims to improve the stability of PVK top cell for (PVK)/Si tandem solar cells, directly addressing the critical barrier to their commercialisation and large-scale deployment as low-cost clean energy technologies. We will combine comprehensive accelerated degradation testing supported by physical guided artificial intelligence with the development of advanced passivation materials, enabling deeper insights into degradation pathways and strategies for improved device durability. Leveraging the expertise of ANU, UNSW, CSIRO, and Monash University, the project will generate fundamental understanding and practical guidelines for material selection to deliver stable, commercially viable PVK/Si tandem photovoltaics.
