Sulfur isotope fractionations in Earth evolution

Project Details

Description

The abundances of sulfur isotopes are diagnostic of processes occurring in the atmosphere, in bacterial consumption of sulfur, and between co-forming mineral phases. We have developed a groundbreaking capability to analyse these isotopes and this will be applied to studies of the solar system, early Earth and ore-forming processes.
