Support for the How Families are Faring project extension

The Supplier will use the Real-time Labour Market Tracker data will be used to examine the characteristics of individuals and families that have interacted with various aspects of the income support system over the COVID-19 period, how these characteristics differ from those who have not interacted with the system, and what are the policy changes that have caused these patterns. That is, the project will combine descriptive, analytical, and quasi-experimental techniques. Using real-time labour market tracker data, this project will help examine effects of COVID on individuals and families that have interacted with various aspects of the income support system over the COVID-19 periodspecifically the Family Tax Benefit claimant population and recipients of Paid Parental Leave.The resulting code (used to examine the cohorts of interest) will also be used (internally) for contemporaneous and future program and policy monitoring and design.
