Survivor Centred Restorative Justice in Response to Sexual Violence - mapping practice and potential

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

This research aims to document practices, research, and debates around survivor-centred RJ in response to SV. Our main research questions are:1. What are the existing pathways to RJ for SV survivors, both inside and outside the formal CJS, in the ACT and elsewhere? Are there practices and services for survivors that do not traditionally fall under the mantle of RJ, but nonetheless operate with similar principles?2. What are the reservations and challenges regarding these practices impeding their uptake and availability? How might they be addressed?3. What is the best approach towards implementing RJ for SV survivors, so that it is readily available as an option for survivors to pursue at different points along their pathway to justice?
