Description
This project aims to expand sustainable, profitable, and inclusive wood processing based upon plantations in Laos and Australia to increase household and national incomes while generating social and environmental benefits. ANU leads the work directed at one of four project research questions: In the evolving policy and governance contexts for tree growing and wood processing in Laos, and for Lao forest products: What policies, processes, and strategies will facilitate tree growing and strengthening the wood processing sector, and increase the benefits of participation for smallholders, women and MSMEs?
