An agreement arising from European Commission Project 230464 (ARIES 22495), led by Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. SYNTH-ETHICS addresses the ethical, legal and social implications of the emerging field of synthetic biology, with a speical focus on biosafety and biosecurity and on notions of life.
