Project Details
Description
Multi-elemental III-V semiconductors hold the key in tunability of bandgap energy and lattice constant for various applications such as tuneable lasers and solar devices. In this project, we will address the epitaxial growth of ternary and quaternary III-V semiconductor nanowires for nanowire optoelectronic devices. The successful growth of these material systems will have a revolutionary impact on the development of photonic and electronic devices of industrial interest. The outcome of this project will create a new generation of nanoscale semiconductor devices and further strengthen the capacity of Australia in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology.
