Project Details
Description
Regular physical exercise is an important inclusion in the lifestyle of adults interested in assuming greater responsibility for their ongoing physical and psychological well-being. There is good evidence that our children are being deprived of the physical activity so necessary for their optimal development. There is evidence that lack of physical activity in our children’s lifestyle may be instrumental in the development of early signs of degenerative disease. This study aims to conclusively show that early physical activity contributes postively to both the psychological and physical development of primary Australian school children and that this effect carries through to adulthood.
