Description
Apicomplexan parasites continue to impose tremendous burdens on humans and livestock across the world. ThisProject aims to elucidate the natural function and evolution of an essential parasite transporter and thus 1) resolvea long-standing question in parasite biology and 2) provide insights that may lead to the development of newmeasures for controlling Apicomplexan parasites. The Project will train PhD students and provide researchopportunities for Honours and undergraduate students.
