    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

The aim of the project is to apply sophisticated methods and techniques from nonlinear mathematical analysis, in particular geometric measure theory and elliptic partial differential equations, to certain computational, geometric and physical variational problems. Such problems are central to mathematics and model many physical phenomena. The outcomes will be a deeper understanding of the underlying theory and of computational procedures used to model such problems.
