Project Details
Description
It is often useful to study a mathematical structure by using the operations acting on it. For algebraic K-theory this gives the lambda-operators. Although the subject is forty years old now, it turns out that there are huge gaps in our understanding. There are some very basic, natural questions that have been open for over twenty years. The aim of this project is to use the ideas in the recent work of Borger and Wieland to explore these open problems.
