    Description

    Australia's biodiversity is unique, with numerous species found nowhere else on Earth. Unfortunately, many of these species are endangered. The Australian Government is committed to preventing further species extinctions. However, identifying which species are at greatest risk and the actions needed to save them is challenging as threat impacts vary between populations and species, resulting in different outcomes for different species in different locations. Combating species declines requires long-term data collected over large areas to diagnose declines and causal drivers; yet these data are lacking for most species. This project aims to overcome this major shortcoming by applying cutting-edge advances in statistical modelling and field surveys to measure species declines across our continent, taking advantage of the recent explosion in species observation records, particularly from
