Project Details
Description
This project aims to establish a novel psychological framework for attitudes toward ambiguity, by addressing its multidimensional nature, and the likely individual and cultural differences. Using rigorous empirical work and quantitative modelling, the project expects to develop a comprehensive psychological framework and effective measures for assessing ambiguity attitudes. Intended outcomes include expanding our understanding of ambiguity attitudes, and enhancing theoretical and measurement tools for psychological research in judgement and decision making. Ambiguity attitudes strongly influence people's judgements and decisions. This project should benefit the development of novel strategies for improving decision making under ambiguity.
