Project Details
Description
Background: The Jericho Dawn 19-3 project has been initiated in order to develop a prototype which detects and tracks air dropped weapon impact points. The system will delineate between high explosive weapons that function and those that do not (Unexploded Ordnance (UXO)) on an Air Weapons Range (AWR). The Commonwealth has a requirement to record UXO events at all AWR in order to reduce range contamination. This system will utilise auditory and seismic instruments to detect and track weapon impact points.Collaboration Objectives: The objective of the collaboration is for the ANU to undertake a feasibility study for the CoA.
