Project Details
Description
This proposal embodies a basic research program to study fully nonlinear partial differential equations, including Monge-Ampere and curvature type equations. These equations arise in a wide range of applications. The objective is to develop new methods and techniques to study the regularity and variational properties of these equations, with a view to establishing comprehensive theories. This program of research innovation will also enhance and promote the broad aims of Australian participation and leadership in this important area of mathematics.
