Victorias Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry Sector Greenhouse Gas Emissions Projections

The Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) wants to engage a specialised supplier to undertake a new LULUCF sector reference case projection to 2050 based on current policies and projected market conditions. The projection is required to: be consistent, to the extent possible, with accounting and methodological frameworks set out in the National/State and Territory Greenhouse Gas Inventories 2021 (Paris Reporting AR5 Inventory) and, where it is not, provide a rationale for the use of the alternative approach; be consistent, to the extent possible, with UNFCCC LULUCF sub-categories as reported in the National Greenhouse Gas Accounts; and provide the results in a format that facilitation into Jacobs whole of economy model.
