What lurks beneath: using electroencephalography (EEG) to study psychological processes in special populations.

    Project: Research

    Project Details

    Description

This proposal is for the purchase of an active electrode EEG system, and appropriate software and accessories, to expand the capabilities of researchers in the Research School of Psychology (RSP). The proposed system is, vitally, suitable for use with the diverse range of populations studied by researchers in the RSP, from young children to older adults to individuals with psychological illness. This is because of the systems very fast setup time and ease of use, in combination with excellent technical specifications that will provide a high signal-to-noise ratio, reducing the amount of time required to collect reliable data.
