Abstract
This publication resulted from the discussions and written contributions to the 2nd Policy Forum on Natural Capital Accounting for Better Decision Making, co-hosted by WAVES, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, and the United Nations Statistics Division, and held in The Hague in November 2017. This publication highlights the many uses of NCA drawing from the experience of many countries, including those supported by the WAVES programme and UNSD, with well-established NCA programmes, as well as those that have recently started work on NCA. In particular, the 2nd Policy Forum discussed how NCA as an integrated measurement framework is able to support the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its accompanying Sustainable Development Goals.
