    Abstract

The genus Micropodabrus Pic, 1920 is a group of East Asian soldier beetles with six species so far reported from Taiwan. In the present paper, previously known species of this genus in Taiwan are reviewed, and photographs of habitus and male antennae are provided. A reinstated combination is proposed, Micropodabrus curvicornis Wittmer, 1997 rev. comb. on the basis of aedeagal structure, and the male is redescribed. In addition, the female of M. brunneipennis Y. Yang & Okushima, 2016 is described for the first time. A key to the identification of Micropodabrus species of Taiwan and a world checklist of this genus are given.
