Abstract
The eagerly awaited centenary of the Great War, which will culminate on 25 April 2015, the anniversary of the D-Day landings at Gallipoli (Turkey), has been in the works for many years. Since its creation in 2010, a committee has been developing spectacular projects to celebrate the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps volunteers: Anzac. Australia is the country that will devote the most public and private funds to the centenary, more than all the other belligerents: nearly half a billion euros should be spent, far ahead of France (120 million euros) or Great Britain (200 million euros).
