Abstract
A 2016 Resolution by the UN Human Rights Council makes it clear that access to the internet, and the way it is used, can impact a wide range of human rights.1 Papua New Guinea's (PNG) rapid embrace of mobile phone technology and the internet has made these multiple links between human rights and technology increasingly relevant and important.
