Abstract

The Gilded, 2010 A sculptural work replicating a gilded chalice holding a reliquary offering of organs. fat, gilded aluminium, gut, glass, chain 178 x 30 x 30 cm The Wishful, 2010 A sculptural work consisting of a bronze votive heart offering sits atop a wax cushion and my mothers table. wax, bronze, Mother's table dimensions variable The Accursed, 2010 A hanging sculptural work of hair and an orifice, resembling the woven nests of the weaver bird. Beneath the hair sits a vessel encrusted with salt crystals. Inside the nest hangs a bronze votive organ. hair, wax, shellac & dragon's blood (Dracoena cinnabar), bronze, plaster, copper, salt dimensions variable
