Abstract
ALA Lens is an outcome of the Re-designing Digital Biodiversity Experience research project, led by Mitchell Whitelaw and Adrian Mackenzie, and funded but the Atlas of Living Australia. ALA Lens presents exploratory visualisations and investigations of ALA data and its values and significance (Data Stories) as well as a summative interface design that offers new opportunities for rich visualisation and exploration of ALA data.
