    Abstract

    The article assesses the potential of Indigenous employment programmes in providing career opportunities for Australian aborigines, based on the Creating Parity report of the Forrest Review. Topics discussed include the project being held by the administration of Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and led by mining tycoon Andrew Forrest, proposed measures of the Forrest Review like Healthy Welfare Cards and Vocational Training and Employment Centres, and the potential of Job Centres.
