Abstract
The review and analysis of the film 'Persepolis' directed by Marjane Satrapi is discussed. The film based on the graphic novels of the same name by Satrapi employs formats such as animation to depict complex and confronting subject matter; and offer interesting avenues of investigation for students and educators.
