    Abstract

The second volume of The Archaeology of the Niah Caves, Sarawak presents detailed reports on the varied multidisciplinary investigations that were summarised to address sequential research themes in the first volume (Barker 2013). As such, there are no major new findings introduced here; these have already been published in a host of papers, as well as in the first volume. The purpose of the second volume is to present the fundamental research, undertaken by researchers in archaeology and a range of associated disciplines, which lies behind previously published and more selective interpretations.
