    Abstract

Coordinating curator Andrew Montana. The exhibition marks Canberra's Centennial year. 'Australia Revealed: Decorative Arts from the Australiana Fund' brings together nearly 80 objects of decorative and practical use, drawn from the official residences of the Governor-General and the Prime Minister : Government House and The Lodge in Canberra, and Admiralty House and Kirribilli House in Sydney. All the objects are within the collection of The Australiana Fund, an independent fundraising organisation established to raise funds for a collection of works of art that are Australian by origin or by association. Objects are acquired for the Australiana Fund collection for the purpose of furnishing the four official residences.
