Abstract
Abstract This short story pretends to be a translation of a lecture in the interactive-MOOC Biotechnology and Society in the Inner Solar System sponsored by the University of the Outer Space, in the Mars Protectorate. It deals with the collapse of the Terran societies in the period 2046-2052, due to climate change and ecological warfare. It also describes the start of Mars colonisation and the genetic engineering of the future colonists. Context of the publication The short story was published in the journal Sci FdI, published by the Faculty of Computer Science of the Universidad Complutense in Madrid.
