Abstract
This is an online article published by the Historical Metallurgy Society on their website, based on a conference paper delivered by Christina Clarke and Stephanie Aulsebrook at the Historical Metallurgy Society Research in Progress Meeting, University of Cambridge, 15 November, 2019. The article outlines original research which re-assesses assumptions in the discipline of Aegean Bronze Age archaeology, particularly with reference to Aegean Bronze Age metalwork.
