    Abstract

Review of the Book 'Ceramics and Globalization’ The review discusses the Authors perspective of globalisation, arsiing from a British viewpoint equates a role of design in “accentuating place of origin” as a reflexive approach to globalisation that is valuable as the first study of it's kind, yet misses an opportunity to address design's role in other perceptions of globalization, particularly emerging from Asia, where emerging manufacturing practices and relationships present different opportunities relevant to regional economies and identities, or different perspectives of global markets.
