Abstract
Cybercrime is essentially a transnational crime, with a modus operandi that exploits interstate differences in the capacity to respond to such crimes. This transnational character provides cybercriminals, especially organized crime, with the ability to avoid countermeasures, even when implemented by capable actors [1,2]. This edited collection is a timely and useful addition to the response literature.
