Abstract
Kevin Cook is not a famous name outside the movements and organisations with which he was closely associated. But he deserves to be remembered as a significant fighter for the rights of Aboriginal people; a practical visionary with a rare capacity to build bridges between people and movements, and notably between Indigenous and settler Australians of good will.
