This little book is presented as a remarkable introduction to metaphysics. Written by the philosopher and professor of metaphysics at the University of Notthingham, Stephen Mumford, the book Metaphysics: a very short introduction makes up a collection published by Oxford University Press which now has over three hundred published volumes. In about a hundred Mumford pages presents so introductory the main themes of contemporary discussions of metaphysics.
