Abstract
The Australian Government has been urged to publish the text of massive new trade agreement under negotiation in Melbourne this week, amid concerns about its implications for public health, human rights and the environment. Public health advocates have also urged the Government to commission a full health impact assessment of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). Meanwhile, a public forum will be held from 6.30pm on Monday July 1 at the Melbourne Trades Hall, followed by a lunchtime rally outside the Melbourne Convention Centre on Tuesday July 2.
