Abstract
A discussion on factors for emergent phenomena and self-organized criticality arising in a network of collaborating agents was presented. The critical probability and power law exponents could not be confidently predicted for each individual complex problem even in the presence of phase transition like phenomena and holding of power law relationships. This could be attributed to the non-algorithmic nature of an open system interacting with an environment that transcend from the computable to the fractal sets.
