Abstract

Benigno S. Noynoy Aquino III entered the 2010 presidential race relatively late. In the wake of his mothers death in August 2009, then-Senator Aquino was pressed by influential personalities and members of his own party to seek the countrys highest post. He finally declared his candidacy in September 2009, answering what he said was the call of the people and the advice of my parents, and the responsibility to continue the fight for our nation
